Reduce Protease Degradation with Clean Genome E.coli
Several proteases have been removed from Scarab’s Clean Genome strains to reduce protease degradation during production and purification of recombinant proteins made in Scarab Genomics strains.
However, Scarab also has a library of strains that contain additional protease deletions for recombinant proteins that are uniquely susceptible to protease degradation.
Removal of proteases from specific cellular regions (see table at right) may reduce the degradation of recombinant proteins prone to digestion by specific proteases. Let Scarab Genomics identify the specific Clean Genome strain that results in the lowest protease degradation levels for your difficult protein.
